DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING

Our Diagnostic Imaging Department is part of the NORrad's Picture Archiving Communications System which continues to improve the delivery of patient care. Radiologists provide readings within 24 hours, and in the case of emergencies, results can be provided within 1 to 2 hours. The department is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. After regular hours, a technologist is on-call for emergencies.

Exams we offer include:

  • Routine x-ray exams
  • Electrocardiograms
  • Holter monitor (24 hrs, 48 hrs, 72 hrs, 14 days)
  • Basic pulmonary function testing
  • Ultrasounds - Abdominal, Pelvic, Obstetrical, Breast, Carotid, Face/Cheek, Groin, Neck/Thyroid, Scrotum and Extremities

Routine examinations do not require an appointment. We aim to examine all patients promptly with a minimum of discomfort. Ultrasounds must be scheduled as they require preparations by the patient.

Note: If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment(s) please call the department to cancel or re-schedule within 24 hrs
